Dr. Eric Michael Bryant

Eric serves with Gateway Church in Austin as part of the Executive Team where he leads the Inspire Team and serves as the Campus Pastor for Gateway South Austin and Gateway Online. Gateway Church is known for their mottos: “no perfect people allowed” and “come as you are".

South Austin has been called “a church planter’s graveyard,” yet with God’s help and using the “5 Keys to Church Growth” Gateway South Austin grew from 200 to 1000 people over the course of 7 years while also sending out core groups to start campuses in central Austin, Buda, Dripping Springs, along with a few families and campus pastor to start a campus in Pflugerville.

From 1998 – 2010, Eric served as part of the leadership team with Erwin McManus at Mosaic in Los Angeles, a church known for its creativity and diversity. The four years prior to that he helped plant a church in Seattle, WA.
Eric is the author of Not Like Me: Loving, Serving, and Influencing Our Divided World, Fruitful: Becoming Who God Created You To Be, and he is an adjunct professor at Bethel Seminary. Plus, he’s the creator and host of “The Post-Christian Podcast”. Eric lives with his wife, Deborah, in South Austin, TX. They are the parents of two young adult children, Caleb and Trevi. John Burke

John Burke is the author of Imagine the God of Heaven, Imagine Heaven, No Perfect People Allowed, Soul Revolution, and Unshockable Love. John Burke is the founding pastor of Gateway Church in Austin, Texas. John and his wife, Kathy, first planted Gateway Church in Austin over 20 years ago. John is also the president of Gateway Leadership Initiative (GLI), a nonprofit organization.

As an international speaker, John has addressed hundreds of thousands of people in thirty countries on topics from leadership to spiritual growth. John has also been interviewed for both television and movies. He and his family live in Austin, Texas.

Eddie Tait​​

Eddie is the Associate Leader of Bethel Church in Austin, Texas. He believes the world needs a true encounter with God, and desires to see people enter into their identity and be released into the fullness of God’s call and promise for their lives. He is passionate and enthusiastic to stir up, challenge and equip people to live a fearless life while bringing God’s love into their family, workplace, and neighborhoods with confidence and zeal.

Over the years, Eddie has been involved in church leadership, directed youth and young adult ministries, and was on the leadership team of the Firestarter’s ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, California.

Carrie and Morgan Stephens

Carrie and Morgan Stephens co-authors of Friendship Can Save the World: The Book of Ruth and the Power of Diverse Community (Leafwood, September 2023), live in Austin, Texas, and have four kids. After serving as campus ministers for ten years at the University of Texas, Carrie and Morgan have led Mosaic Church, a richly diverse community of faith in Austin, since 2009. They are passionate about reaching lives and transforming cities through church planting, campus ministry, and missional work.
