Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
The Scriptures talk about the Greatest Commandment which has to do with loving God and the Second Greatest Commandment which is loving people (your neighbor). In Matthew 6:33, it talks about seeking first God’s kingdom.
Just imagine the impact of people and ministries working together across the city and the region that are focused on seeking God’s kingdom first, seeking His righteousness, and having an impact on the city and the region! Just imagine the impact!
If people of faith were to put God’s kingdom and his righteousness first, it could impact an entire region or city. The Bible encourages people in Matthew chapter 6 to seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness. Later, in the Scriptures, Jesus says that “HE” will build his church. It’s way too easy for most of the effort to go into building churches. Churches that are growing are a good thing! However, just imagine if thousands of people also worked together to build the kingdom and put God’s kingdom and his righteousness first.
This might result in many marriages being strengthened or restored, many people being set free from addiction, many people finding hope and faith, more righteousness in government, perhaps even less crime, and more.
A large part of the impact from Jesus’ ministry came “outside” in the marketplace and in regular daily life. A vision of Kingdom Outside is to see people working together to put God’s kingdom and his righteousness first while impacting the city and the region.
If you have a marketplace or “outside” ministry and this ministry is focused on seeking God’s kingdom and his righteousness first (or if this gets you excited), please send us a message.
